A national flag is the symbol of a nation. It is the pride of a country. Our national flag is the symbol of our independence. It is rectangular in shape. The flag is 5 : 3 in length and breadth. The background of the flag is bottle - green in colour with a sun - globe in the middle. The radios of the sun - globe is one - fifth of the length of the flag. The bottle - green colour stands for the everlasting freshness, youth, vigour and vitality of our nation. The sun - globe signifies continuous and everlasting life of our nation. Our national flag is more valuable than any other wealth. We must keep up its honour at the cost of our life.
